Pressureless Combiners: Mass to Single File
Pressureless combiners incorporate multiple belts and chain speeds, made from specified material as you require, to move products from a mass flow capacity down to a single file or lane without using pressure. We typically see this configuration when moving round or cylindrical product, especially when there may be a stability issue, but have also been quite successful in moving trays as well.
By alleviating back pressure, the pressureless combiner aids in the prevention of container damage, label or ink-jet scratching, ink-manipulation or peeling, as the containers move at a high pace from accumulative to single row transportation down the line.
A pressureless single filer typically allows product to work its way into single lane by use of progressively faster strands of carry chain, or with no backpressure like the photos below. This is more tailored to light weight, less rigid or potentially unstable product.
This design can be incorporated in using high-speed plastic belt or mat-type chain conveyors or even in table top scenarios.
